You will find here business idioms, confusing words, false friends of learners, some important rules for effective communication and some tips on cross-cultural differences. You will also see other useful things which we can not always deal with at the lessons for the lack of time.

We advise page provides you with recommendations how to learn and improve your English, which books to read and where to buy them. It also contains some references to internet addresses where you can learn on-line.

BEC page contains the information about Business English Certificate, helps prepare for the exams and explains where you can take them, provides references to the original resources.

Our Dictionary page tells you about the purpose and structure of the English-Ukrainian-Russian Thematic Dictionary of Business. It explains how it differs from other dictionaries. You will also find the advice how to use the Practice Disc.

Speaking Club page invites you to join the clubbers at the Club sessions if you wish to improve your speaking skills and remove the barrier to communication. You will learn there about terms and conditions for becoming a Club member.

English in Finance describes a specialized 5-month course which is usually arranged for the outsiders, non-MIM students (yet!) who are in banking and finance, who need financial terminology for their everyday work.

Diving into English is a page devoted to one of the most challenging and fascinating projects we have implemented. For 7 days 7 students and 2 teachers were away from Kyiv. English from morning till night. Talking, reading, listening, watching, singing etc.
